Wei To Go Chattanooga | Authentic Sichuan & Spicy Chinese Cuisine

Run, don't walk! To try Wei to go!!!! I discovered this two weeks ago and have already been multiple times! Very authentic and delicious Sichuan food. I got the boiling beef twice and the Sichuan chicken. The boiling beef lasted multiple meals for my husband and me. It is the best numbing spice and is such a cozy meal. We have been craving Sichuan spice ever since we discovered this restaurant. The portions are generous and the spice is so comforting. We will definitely be coming again! I recommend ordering ahead if you get the boiling beef, as it takes a bit longer to prepare than the other meals. 10 stars. Please check them out!

We stopped to pick up a few items, saw the Wei To Go food truck, and decided to give them a try. Everyone was professional and friendly. After some deliberation, we chose the special. There's so much food for the price. Well worth it. The spice level isn't for the faint of heart. It's super spicy, but it was also super flavorful. This was our first time trying them and we're looking forward to returning for the next dish. Good job!!!!

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The Sichuan chicken was phenomenal—the exterior had a delicate, crisp texture, not overly crunchy, but just enough to make each bite incredibly satisfying. It was perfectly balanced: crispy, savory, and packed with just the right kick of spice. On top of that, the service was excellent. Will definitely be back to try the other entrees. Highly recommend!

I love a sweet and savory flavor combo and the pineapple pork bowl definitely delivered! The breading wasn’t too thick, great portion, and I loovvedd the peanuts and chili carrots with it! Everything is made fresh to order and is super authentic!! Can’t wait to support this local crew again!

Absolutely wonderful, fresh food! I got the spicy Szechuan bowl and the spice level was perfect. Not terribly hot at all but just a gradual numbing spice I couldn’t get enough of! Can’t wait to come back to try more!! Glad they post their locations on IG!

Wei To Go is the kind of food truck that becomes an instant staple the moment you try it. Housed in a beautifully converted Airstream, it feels right at home in downtown Chattanooga — but the food is what makes it unforgettable. I ordered the Szechuan Boiling Beef for Two, and it nailed every cold-weather craving I had. Deeply warming, perfectly spicy, and tons of flavor and crisp veggies. Their house-made sauces are the stars of all their dishes — you can taste the care, balance, and experience in every dish. It’s rare to find a food truck this dialed-in, both in execution and passion. If you’re in Chattanooga or the surrounding area, put Wei To Go on your must-visit list. This Airstream kitchen is serving some of the best Chinese street food around.

The truck was posted at the daily ration and I stopped by and it was really fantastic. I got the sichuan chicken and egg rolls. The flavor was so fresh and different from anything I’ve had in the Chattanooga area. They make everything fresh and you can tell. I can’t wait to go back and try it again.

Do NOT sleep on Wei To Go Chattanooga! It's phenomenal! This food truck promised to bring some authentic Chinese food to the Chattanooga area. It's something that we sorely lack. I am by no means authentically Chinese, but I have loved Chinese food my whole life. (I literally cried when mom-and-pop Panda in Hixson closed!) I'm impressed, for sure! The Sichuan Chicken Salad is loaded, and so delicious! We also tried the beef dish and the popcorn chicken. Everything is fresh and flavorful and, as far as I have the authority to say so, very authentic. I'm so grateful to see a place like this give it an honest shot, and we will be back!!
